Gonzaga University · School of Business Administration
Professional-grade analysis for the business of sport, delivered by students who are held to it.
Thirty-five organizations across eleven semesters. Marketing, partnerships, ticketing, fan experience, data analytics and digital audits, scoped to one objective and delivered in a semester.
What we do
The business of sport, not the sport itself
Commercial strategy
Partnerships, sponsorship valuation, ticketing and pricing, revenue growth questions that need research behind them.
Fan and market analysis
Fan experience, audience and market research, survey design, segmentation and the analysis that follows it.
Data and digital
Data analytics, digital audits, dashboards and the operational reporting a lean front office rarely has time to build.
We do not advise on on-field or playing strategy. Holding that boundary is part of how we stay useful.

For clients
How an engagement works
You bring one objective
Not a wish list. One question worth a team of analysts for a semester. We help you sharpen it before anyone starts work.
A team is assigned, with a faculty director on it
A project manager and consultants, meeting weekly. A faculty director oversees the work and the client relationship throughout.
Midpoint and final presentations
You see the thinking at the midpoint while it can still change direction, and receive the final deliverable and presentation at the end of the semester.
For donors and supporters
What your support actually buys
GSCG runs on student time, faculty direction and a small amount of operating support. Giving does not fund overhead in the usual sense: it funds the difference between a student reading about consulting and a student doing it for the Seahawks.
Support goes to travel for client visits and presentations, case competition entry and preparation, software and data the work requires, and the professional development that turns a sophomore into someone a front office would hire.
